Who we are

Parallel Agents Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: ak@parallelagents.co.uk.

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller. Registration reference: ZC120533 (registered 10 April 2026, renews annually). You can verify this at ico.org.uk.

What data we collect

When you use our website, we may collect:

  • Contact information: name, email address, company name, website URL — submitted via our audit, demo and booking forms
  • Booking data: scheduled call times, phone numbers (for voice bookings), meeting preferences — collected by Cal.com on our behalf
  • Payment data: card details entered when paying for the Clarity Call — processed directly by Stripe, we never see or store your full card number
  • Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referral source — only with consent
  • Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address — for security and fraud prevention (legitimate interest)

How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Deliver the audit, demo, call, or service you requested
  • Process payments for paid services (Stripe)
  • Respond to enquiries and manage bookings
  • Improve our website and services (only with analytics consent)
  • Send marketing communications (only with explicit consent)
  • Meet our legal and tax obligations

Legal basis for processing

We process your data under UK GDPR Article 6 lawful bases:

  • Consent (6(1)(a)): when you submit a form, opt in to marketing, or accept analytics cookies
  • Contract (6(1)(b)): to deliver services you've purchased and process payment
  • Legitimate interests (6(1)(f)): to respond to enquiries, prevent fraud, maintain site security, and improve the service
  • Legal obligation (6(1)(c)): to meet tax, accounting and regulatory requirements

Sub-processors

We use the following third-party processors to deliver our service. Each is contractually bound to GDPR standards:

  • Cloudflare (US/UK): website hosting, CDN, DDoS protection
  • Cal.com (US): booking and scheduling
  • Stripe (US/Ireland): payment processing (Clarity Call and subscriptions)
  • Google Workspace (US/Ireland): business email and document storage
  • Resend (US): transactional and marketing email delivery
  • Listmonk (self-hosted, UK): newsletter and campaign email
  • Klaviyo or Mailchimp (US/Ireland): client email campaigns (where applicable)
  • Anthropic & Google AI (US): AI content generation on client data with contractual data protection commitments

International transfers are covered by UK Standard Contractual Clauses or UK adequacy decisions where applicable.

Data retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

  • Enquiry data: 24 months from last contact, unless you become a client
  • Client data: for the duration of the contract plus 7 years (UK accounting requirements)
  • Payment records: 7 years (HMRC requirement)
  • Marketing consent records: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data (where no legal basis for retention applies)
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Port your data to another provider
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

  • Essential (no consent required): Cloudflare bot protection, session state, cookie consent preference. These are strictly necessary under UK PECR.
  • Optional (consent required): analytics cookies that measure site usage. Declined by default — set only when you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner.

The Cal.com booking widget sets functional cookies when you book a call — these are necessary to deliver the booking you've requested. The Stripe payment form sets its own functional and fraud-prevention cookies, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Security

We protect your data with: HTTPS across the entire site, Content Security Policy headers, HSTS, encrypted data-at-rest on Cloudflare, Stripe PCI-DSS Level 1 for payment, multi-factor authentication on all admin accounts, least-privilege access controls, and routine security patching.
